Our Design Process
-
Project Kickoff
Once we receive your booking retainer, we’ll send you a detailed questionnaire to gather important design details for your event. This information will help us create a custom mood board that reflects the vision for your invitation design. This step is crucial for ensuring we’re aligned on the project direction moving forward. Afterward, we’ll schedule a Creative Collaboration meeting to formally kick off the project, where we’ll review the mood board and discuss the next steps in the process.
-
Design
Following our Creative Collaboration meeting, you can expect to receive the initial design concepts within approximately two weeks. You will have two mockups of complete invitation suites to review, allowing you to select one direction to move forward with or suggest further edits.
-
Approvals + Production
Once the design mockups are approved, you will receive final print proofs to sign off on, which will initiate the production phase of your project. This package will include final quantities, design layouts and proofs of all addressed mailing envelopes for your review. After these proofs are approved, production typically takes 4-6 weeks to complete.
Letterpress
Letterpress is a traditional printing method that involves pressing inked, raised designs onto paper to create beautiful, textured impressions. This technique adds a touch of sophistication to wedding invitations, ensuring they not only look stunning but also feel special to the touch. Whether it’s a simple design or intricate details, letterpress brings a unique artistry to your wedding stationery.
Metallic Foil
Metallic foil printing is similar to letterpress printing, but instead of using ink, foil printing involves applying a shiny metallic foil to the surface, resulting in a reflective finish that adds a luxurious detail to your designs.
Digital Printing
Digital printing is a modern printing method that uses digital files to produce high-quality images directly onto paper. This technique allows for vibrant colors and intricate designs, making it an excellent choice for wedding invitations that can be customized to reflect your unique style. Plus, it’s often more cost-effective for smaller runs, giving you flexibility without sacrificing quality.
